2 Week Natural Building Training in Patagonia

Build a Waldorf School with teachers, students, activists, and the local community.
In this 2-week intensive in the beautiful valley of El Bolsón,
Patagonia, we
constructed a Kindergarten for 'La Escuelita,' a local Waldorf School. 'La Escuelita' is based on experiential learning, nurturing a balance between intellectual, physical, and emotional development. After moving three times in its first five years, the school recently obtained land to build its permanent home. This workshop helped make this dream a reality.
Our
group included people from 5 countries, with a Mapuché woman, indigenous to Argentina, and a shaman from Peru. We ranged in age from children to 72-years. As we built the kindergarten, we also built powerful relationships with eachother. A strong feeling of community developed (not uncommon!) as we shared these days in the mud, with evenings of music, conversation, fire circles and more.
As is usually the case, our building has also become a demonstration model for the local community. Since the end of the workshop there have been many requests for more. A Natural Building collective has started and future trainings are in the works. Thanks to all who were, and continue to be involved. May your time with the mud continue to be as magical!
