Media Archivist Internship

Position based in Asheville, North Carolina: Work with an amazing duo of talented and enthusiastic women –Kleiwerks International’s founding Director and Media Director– who are launching several media projects including a feature length documentary film! We need a self-motivated, part-time, unpaid, well-loved intern to log archived media from around the world. Media that needs transferring and logging is 10 years of international natural building from around the world, including video in mini-DV and VHS tape formats, voice recordings on CD and DVD, and over 10,000 photographs. Approximately 100+ hours to complete the project with flexible time 8-12 hours a week. Kleiwerks International will provide hard disk and/or server space for uploading and logging. Volunteer must have their own – or access to – video equipment (such as a camcorder for transfer), and a laptop, and be organized, efficient, have excellent communication skills, be able to make deadlines, and live in the Asheville, North Carolina area.
