Help for Orphans International is a non-profit organization that provides superior education facilities and materials for orphans around the world.
Help for Orphans International’s long term project in Haiti will teach the children skills in sustainable agriculture, creative arts, sewing, jewelry making, as well as an overall comprehensive education. In this way the children will have life skills that will enable them to make an income for themselves and their families when they reach adulthood.
Working with Kleiwerks International’s experience in community-based site development and sustainable construction, our joint team has been assessing the cultural norms in construction, education, and agriculture. By working with the local community we will build a model center as well as help the orphans by teaching them these skills. In this way the children can be given the opportunity for growth and development that every child deserves. The model we are creating is worthy of duplication. Localized stability is not just an appropriate response to disaster relief; it is a change that will make a positive impact anywhere.
