2011: Janell Kapoor was invited to co-teach the first natural building training in Turkey, joining her co-instructor – Penny Livingston, organizer – Filiz Telek, host – Mustafa Alper, assistants and translators – Mustafa Bakir and Andrew Zionts, and the strawbale builder from France – Julien. 60 students, artists, engineers, architects, and other enthusiasts joined for the week of non-stop mud fun. We worked with eight wall techniques, completed two small structures, a strawbale wall and danced and sang late into the nights. 2012: It was way too much fun not to do it again….Please keep your eyes out for May 12-19 workshop details…coming soon!
